FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Straightforward answers about PaceTraq's current web product — no team-software replacement claims, no app-store promises, no generic hype.
What is PaceTraq?+
PaceTraq is a web app that helps swimmers and swim families track meet results, practice reflection, motivational time standards, and season goals. It focuses on the swimmer's personal development story rather than team administration.
Who is PaceTraq for?+
PaceTraq is for competitive age-group swimmers, masters swimmers, and parents who want a clear household view of progress. It is not a coach team-management suite.
Does PaceTraq replace Commit Swimming or other team software?+
No. PaceTraq complements team software. Keep using club tools for rosters, meet entries, billing, and coach operations. Use PaceTraq for personal times, goals, practice notes, and family progress history.
Can I track USA Swimming standards?+
Yes. PaceTraq includes USA Swimming motivational standards progress views and also supports additional sets such as YMCA national times and custom uploaded standard sheets. Always confirm critical cut times against the official published standard for your meet.
Is there a native iOS or Android app?+
The product available today is the PaceTraq web app, which is designed mobile-first. A native iOS and Android experience is in development and is not claimed as a released app-store product yet.
How do I get my old times into PaceTraq?+
You can enter results manually and use assisted import options to bootstrap historical times. After that, the recommended habit is to enter new meet results carefully after each meet so the history stays accurate.
Can parents manage more than one swimmer?+
Yes. Parent or guardian accounts can manage multiple swimmers in a household and keep each swimmer's results, practices, and goals organized.
Is PaceTraq free to try?+
You can create an account and start tracking in the web app. Pricing and entitlement details may change as the product develops; the public site will describe current access when you sign up.
